Joel Emmanuel Tencer, graduated with his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Toronto in 1968.
He followed this up by earning his Bachelor of Laws Degree from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in Toronto in 1972.
In April, 2006, Mr. Tencer received a full membership designation from The Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants, enabling him to practice immigration, refugee and citizenship applications in Canada. As of November 23, 2021, the new regulator of Immigration Consultants is known as The College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (The College), in which Mr. Tencer is in good standing.
He has been honoured with a fellowship from The Canadian Migration Institute which educated and accredited its members, advocated on immigration law and policy, and promoted consumer protection within the Immigration community. Mr. Tencer held this fellowship until November, 2011.
Mr Tencer has a thorough knowledge of Canadian Immigration procedure, policy, refugee protection law and Canadian citizenship procedure.
